La Villaya 1 bedroom villa’s crown jewel is its private pool
Yes, it’s true – this villa has its own private pool, plus sun loungers on a sun shelf, a bench under a shade, and a pair of chairs and table by the pool where you can take your morning coffee and contemplate how lucky you are. If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a bath tub with pool views, so you can really live the glam life.
This villa really has all you need. There is a large open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for two, and a corner sofa with a coffee table so you can relax. There’s also a large TV in the king-sized bedroom. Add in air conditioning, closet space and private bathroom and you’re good to go.
When you’re ready to venture outside your villa, you’re in for a treat. La Villaya 1 bedroom villa is located in Umalas, an up and coming area that’s not too touristy and boasts some upscale restaurants, cafes and spas. You’re also just a short ride away from the buzz of Canggu and Seminyak. Nestled between chic Seminyak and hipster Canggu, Umalas has become one of the most exclusive locations in Bali with a number of gourmet restaurants, trendy cafés and luxury spas. And this villa is located near to Warung Dua and Bucu.
Favourite picks of cafés & restaurants in Umalas include:
- Warung Dua: favourite among expats and with a relaxed vibe, Warung Dua offers coffee, fresh juices and yummy Indonesian food. It is a great pit stop in Umalas if you are looking for quick, tasty and cheap food and would be a great introduction to the famous ‘Indonesian Warungs’.
- Habitual: A small exclusive café with some one-of-a-kind burgers that is only open for breakfast and lunch. With a world class American chef and a contemporary chic décor, this place is dressed in dark colours to create an ambiance! The café also offers pasta, soups and salads and some yummy desserts.
- Bucu: must-go for a family as it has an interesting playground downstairs (including an inflatable water castle when the sun is out). The playground is half inside and half outside so it is also convenient during the rainy season. As well as that, the food, coffee and atmosphere are great!
- Nook: With its unbeatable rice field views, this open spaced place serves Balinese specialties in addition to Western favourites at very reasonable prices. The heavenly juices, huge smoothies and seafood kebab or fresh oysters on a Sunday are real crowd pleasers.
- Monsieur Spoon: An oh-la-la French bakery perfect for a ‘petit dejeuner’. Definitely the best croissants on the island but not only limited to that. Do also try the breakfast, lunch and dinner options and you will not be disappointed!
- La Casetta: For pizza lovers, this is your place. Pizzas don’t come better than this, the pasta is to die for and don’t even get me started with the pannacotta or ‘Sorbetto al Limone’ for dessert. It is one of our favourite Italian restaurants for a very good reason!
Getting around:
The staff can arrange car with driver for day trips as well as motorbike rentals. Price for motorbike rentals ranges from 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Joined my friends who were staying in one of the bigger villas, at first I wished I could have stayed in the same place with them but as it turned out I loved my little private villa with its pool. Has everything you need, TV, fridge, sofa, dining table, AC. And its all in really good condition. I was sad to say goodbye!
We moved here last minute after our booked accommodation with another company was not good, and we were so happy to find it. This is a great little villa, very clean and well equipped and amazing to have its own pool. The area was nice, no drunk tourist outside my window, lots of warungs with great local food. BCV saved our holiday, if we come back to Bali we will always use this company.
Really pleasantly surprised by this villa – I think it’s pretty unusual to have a one bed place that has its own pool, and this pool is a very good size. The villa is compact but has everything that you need and it’s well looked after, everything works, and it’s very clean.
