Yes, we do. We believe in first-hand experience. For us the best way to put ourselves in the client’s shoes is to stay in the villa ourselves. This is before we even start a discussion with the villa manager or owner about a potential future collaboration. If the villa passes our test, then the discussion starts.

Yes, we are. All our villas have staff with good English. This includes a villa manager and cleaning staff, plus most villas also have security at night. So there will always be somebody to help you at the villa. On top of that, we will give you a local telephone number that you can call or whatsapp 24/7. You will be surprised to see that your e-mails, whatsapp or telephone calls will be answered in minutes. How do we do that? We have staff working on rotation 24/7 so there is always somebody there to answer your questions.

The difference between us and a generic travel agent in Bali is that we will search every nook and cranny to find the best villa at the best price. It might not be listed in the booking.coms. It might be a small family run business. It is easy to find top quality in luxury villas. However, what is hard to find is top quality that comes hand in hand with affordable pricing. And to do that we go small.

Our villas are categorised by type of experience so we can best fit our clients’ needs. On top of that we offer 24/7 customer service before and after a booking is made. This means that you can send us an e-mail, call us or fill in the booking form. You can tell us what you are looking for. Rest assured that we will make sure to find the most suitable villa available in the fastest possible time. Once you make a booking, we will then offer you a personalised list of things to do based on your needs. Lastly, you can always contact us while you’re in Bali to ask about anything you might need, from where to eat at night, to where to buy an Indonesian sim card for your phone.

First, we make sure that we offer the best price for each and every villa. We then carefully select villas with a good value for money ratio. We are constantly on the lookout for these rare villa gems that can guarantee top quality at an affordable price.

We charge a commission but not to you. In other words, the villa owners give us a discount or pay us a commission on their listed price. We in exchange bring them clients. This is standard practice in Bali.

We have carefully selected our payment partners to make sure your money is 100% safe with us. We use globally recognised payment methods such as Paypal. We also use DOKU, the biggest credit card gateway in Indonesia for credit card payments (for more info you can refer to their website DOKU). For bank transfers, we use OCBC bank which is one of the biggest banks in Singapore that has branches in Indonesia and which offers a multicurrency account with up to 12 currencies (OCBC). This means you will save on bank’s currency exchange commission fees. We therefore guarantee that there is a 0% risk of fraudulent transactions. In the case of a fraudulent transaction, however, we will refund in full for the amount lost.

Of course you can. You are NOT charged for making a booking enquiry for one of our villas. Just send us your enquiry and we will come back to you asap. Feel free to ask us any questions you have, we are happy to answer them for you. Depending on the dates, we can block the villa for you from 48 hours to 1 week.

Once you are ready to book the villa, send us your booking enquiry. We will then e-mail you with the instructions for making a booking.

You only need to pay a deposit of 35% to reserve the villa, while the remaining amount can be paid upon check in.

There are several ways to make payments. You can pay with your credit card. You can do a bank transfer to our multicurrency bank account that can accept up to 12 currencies (and which means you will save on bank’s currency exchange fees). Also, you can pay by PayPal or you can pay in cash at our Bali office.

Each villa has its own cancellation policy. Please go to the ‘House Rules’ section of each villa listing to see its cancellation policy. We do NOT charge ANY service charges if you decide to make a cancellation.

Each villa includes staff with good English. This translates in a villa manager and cleaning staff, plus most villas also have security at night. Breakfast is also included. Most of our villas include much more in the price. Please go to the ‘Price Includes’ section of each villa listing. There, you will see what you get for your money. There are no hidden charges or taxes. What you see in the final price is what you will pay. We like to keep things clear and transparent.

Each villa has pool and wifi, while all rooms have AC and hot water. Bed linens, towels and toiletries are also provided. Every villa is private for the client booked. For more information on the villa, please go to the ‘Villa Facilities’ section of each villa. Also, for more information on the room facilities, please go to the ‘Room Facilities’ section of each villa.

You can find the exact address of the villa on the map included on each villa listing. In addition, once your booking is made, we will send you an e-mail with the exact villa address. We can arrange airport pick up at the standard price charged by taxi drivers. Alternatively you can find a taxi yourself at the airport once you arrive. There is a taxi desk at arrivals which is hard to miss. Make sure you do not pay more than 300.000 IDR to Canggu / Seminyak – this is the standard price.

It really depends on where the villa is located but on average it takes one hour from the airport to the villas in Seminyak and one and a half hours to the villas in Canggu. Canggu is 18km away from the airport, while Seminyak is 12km away from the airport. Rush hour is between 8-10am and 4-6pm, when people go to and from work.

The villa manager or another staff member will be at the villa waiting for you no matter what time you arrive.

All villas have staff with good English: all villas have a villa manager and most have security at night. Daily cleaning and breakfast is included in the price. Concierge service is also offered in all villas. Normally you will get much more than that. For more information on what services you will get, go to the ‘Price Includes’ section of each villa.

Most villas have a restaurant and supermarket in walking distance. The staff can happily buy groceries for you at a minor extra cost or arrange a taxi for you if you need to go a bit further. Generally speaking, there are plenty of restaurant, bar and supermarket options in Canggu and Seminyak. The easiest way to get around is by scooter as distances are short but not everything is in walking distance.

Breakfast is included in the price. The staff can order takeaway for you for lunch or dinner or they can also arrange lunch, dinner or bbq at the villa at an extra cost. Some villas have a restaurant where you can eat or order room service.

Once you make the booking, we will send you a customised list of things to do while in Bali. On top of that, the staff at the villa can arrange a car(s) with driver(s) for day trips. We can also arrange surf lessons, yoga classes or massages if you wish. There is a concierge service in every villa but you can also contact us 24/7 directly through phone (whatsapp) or e-mail. Our villas are categorised according to experience and this includes villas best suited for families. However, in all our villas, we can place a pool fence and baby cot or arrange for babysitting services if needed. We are also here to give you suggestions on kid friendly cafes and restaurants as well as activities.

All sockets are European standardised with 220V output. Bring your adapter or buy an adapter while in Bali if your devices have other standards.

All villas have safety boxes where you can leave your valuables.

We guarantee the quality of all of our villas. We don’t list villas that don’t live up to our high quality standards and we do regular site inspections to make sure the villas are well-maintained and perfectly suitable to welcome our guests. However, should you have a problem or if a question arises, we are here 24/7 to answer your questions and solve your problems. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and we will make sure we will get back to you asap. You can check price comparison sites such as skyscanner.com to get the best deal. Airline companies that fly to Bali include Jetstar, Qantas, Virgin Australia, Singapore Airlines, KLM, Emirates, Etihad and Qatar amongst others. While there are direct flights from Singapore, Australia and South East Asian countries e.g. Malaysia, there are no direct flights to Bali from Europe and the North / South America. Typically flights from the latter destinations have one stop-over. To get the best prices, try to book well in advance or subscribe to price comparison and airline companies’ websites so that you get notified about any discounts.

Bali has only one airport and this is Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar. The travel time from the airport to Seminyak and Canggu is one and one and a half hours respectively, depending on traffic.

For most countries including Australia, and South East Asian, European and North American countries, a visa is now issued on arrival for free. For some countries, there is a charge of US$35 for this visa. You can check whether there is a charge for the visa for your country by following this link Bali Visa Requirements & Visa Regulations for Indonesia. If you need to pay, you can pay in US$, € or IDR at the airport. This visa is valid for 30 days. Alternatively, you can get a 2-month visa by visiting the Indonesian Embassy in your country.

If you wish to stay more than 30 days and have not been issued a 2-month visa from the Indonesian Embassy in your country, you can extend your visa while in Bali. Please note that you cannot extend the free visa on arrival. If you want to extend your visa, you need to get a paid visa on arrival. You can do this either on your own by visiting the immigration office or preferably through an agent. This will cost you a bit more but will save you a lot of time and hassle.

The currency in Bali and wider Indonesia is the IDR (Indonesia Rupiah) which is approximately €1 to IDR16,000 and US$1 to IDR14,000. Exchange rates can vary a lot during the year but this is a rough average.

We would recommend avoiding exchanging money at the airport as exchange rates are not favourable. There are plenty of places to exchange currency in Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu. BMC money changer is one that we recommend as it is commission free. There are plenty of BMC exchange stores around Bali.

This is relatively easy. Most ATMs accept credit and bank cards including Visa, Maestro and Cirrus and can give you Rupiahs in exchange. The maximum amount per transaction is IDR3mn (approx €190 or US$215). You can make approximately 4 transactions a day.

Bali’s climate has two seasons: the dry season and the wet season. The dry season lasts from April to November with an average temperature of 30°C and 2-3 days’ rain a month. At night the temperature drops a bit but it is still warm and you do not need to wear a jumper or jacket. November to April is the wet season in Bali. This means that it rains more on average compared to the dry season but there is no clear pattern. It might rain every day for a week or not rain at all. Normally, there is heavy rain for 30 minutes and then the sun comes out again. This can happen 2-3 times a day or not at all. The average temperature during the wet season is a bit higher and it tends to be more humid as well.

The temperature in Bali is from 27 – 32 °C. During the dry months and especially June to August, temperatures can reach 24°C at night.

The water temperature in Bali is between 26°C (July/August) and 30°C (December/January). This means the water remains warm all year round.

The easiest way to get around is by scooter. Rental is quite cheap (approximately €3.5 a day or US$4.5 a day). It is quite safe to drive around by scooter in Canggu and Seminyak. Alternatively you can rent a car, which is a bit more expensive but still affordable, or you can rent a car with a driver to take you around. To rent a scooter you only need your passport. To rent a car, you will need an international driving licence.

Bali has plenty of options food wise and Canggu and Seminyak are no exception. You can select from a variety of international restaurants, from freshly cooked BBQ to organic/vegetarian food, to local food. Prices are relatively cheap, ranging from an average cost of €3 or US$3.5 for local warung food (local tavern that serves buffet style food) to €4-7 or US$5-8 for an international meal or BBQ.

One thing is sure: Bali has plenty of night life. Canggu offers a variety of bars, including beach bars such as Finns Beach Club and Old Man’s, and the ever popular Deus with live music on Sundays. Seminyak also has a vibrant night life and there is always the crazy night life of Kuta that keeps on going until morning.

There are some shops in Canggu but Bali’s shopping paradise is in the Seminyak and Kuta areas. Seminyak has more boutique style shops while Kuta is great for open markets and bargain hunting. The outlets on Sunset Road are a surfer’s paradise with pretty good deals on surf clothes. And there are also some malls such as the trendier Beach Walk mall by Kuta Beach, handily positioned for a post-shopping stroll.

Lots and lots of bikinis and flip flops for wearing during the day with shorts and T-shirts. At night you might want to consider long trousers to protect you against mosquitos. Generally, bring your casual beach clothes. Bali is a very relaxed place when it comes to clothes but of course there are always some more upmarket venues, especially in Seminyak, if you wish to dress up.

Bali is quite a safe place compared to other tropical destinations. Having said that, we still recommend a tetanus boost (1 jab in your buttocks), hepatitis A (2-3 jabs, starting 6 weeks before your trip) and typhoid (oral vaccination, 3 weeks before). Though Bali and Nusa Lembongan are classified as malaria-free, if you want to be on the safe side, a malaria prophylaxis and rabies vaccination is recommended. Act wisely to keep risk to the minimum by bringing repellents and protective clothing with you.

Medical care is up to Western standards. There are also plenty of pharmacies selling almost everything you might need from antiseptic creams to band aids quite cheaply. Of course, you can always bring your own personal pharmaceuticals if you wish.

It is recommended that you take out travel health insurance that covers treatment expenses and also emergency transport. This insurance is quite cheap and normally lasts for a year.

Bali is relatively safe at night time as well as in the day. Nevertheless, it is always recommended to stay in groups and avoid isolated places when out at night.

It is recommended that you leave your valuables in the hotel. However, you can always take a bag with you when going out. As a rule Canggu and Seminyak tend to be safer than Kuta.
